I decided to document at least some attempts with SQL here.

I will mainly talk about PostgreSQL, because that’s what I use.

Why?

• It is free,
• it is awsome,
• it isn’t ‘simple’, in that it is able to withstand very complicated queries, and yet perform well.
• It has a great community, and support from it is just great,
• I learned throughout years, that you can actually put more work on proper DBE – and do whole app design around it, which in turn saves you a lot of time, and makes development easy, flexible, fast and fun.
